The PGA Tour begins its Florida swing with the first World Golf Championships event of the year, the WGC-Workday Championship 2021. Round 1 begins at the Concession Golf Course on Thursday, February 25 (2/25/2021).

TV coverage of the 2021 WGC-Workday Championship will take place on The Golf Channel on February 25-28. Additional coverage will be available on NBC on February 27 and 28. Live streams are available on fuboTV, Sling, ESPN Plus and Hulu + Live TV. Full TV and streaming schedule below.

The Workday Championship moved from Mexico to Florida this year due to Covid-19 circumstances south of the border, and it’s expected to be packed with players from the Top 50 in world golf rankings. Only Tiger Woods and Paul Casey will not make an appearance.

Patrick Reed, No. 11 in the world, is the defending champion for the event, which was last held at Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City. He won the event on a previous occasion in 2014 as well, and already has a controversial PGA 1st-place finish to his name this year at the Farmers Insurance Open.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson is the only player to have won all four of the WGCs, and enters the field as a favorite to win this one too, according to CBS Sports.

Elsewhere in the standings, Jordan Spieth’s performance at the Genesis Invitational failed to punch him a ticket to a WGC event for the first time since he became a tour pro in 2013.
