Sharks coach Sean Everitt is eager to maintain their unbeaten home run when they meet the Bulls in Currie Cup today.
Having dismally failed to beat the Bulls up in Pretoria, the Sharks are banking on their homeground advantage and Durban’s difficult conditions to get revenge over their bitter rivals in a key Carling Currie Cup clash on Saturday.
When the two teams meet in a top-of-the-table battle at King’s Park in Durban at 2 pm on Saturday, the fight will not only be about the crucial log points or the Sharks getting one over the team that have humiliated them a couple times in this domestic season, they will also be out to defend their proud home record as they haven’t lost a match at King’s Park in 2020.
But that record is in serious danger as the men from Pretoria have been in fine form, which saw them winning the Super Rugby Unlocked and placed them as top favourites to clinch the Currie Cup as well in January.
