Scottish Cup draw RECAP as Rangers and Celtic plus Aberdeen find out their fate

It’s one of the great days in the Scottish football calendars as the big-hitters enter the draw for the Scottish Cup third round.

Holders Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and the rest of the Premiership join the competition at this stage as the tournament really gets down to business.

And it’s a Scottish Cup with a difference as all ties will be decided on the day with traditional replays scrapped amid a jam-packed fixture schedule due to the pandemic.

And Neil Lennon’s Celtic side will have their own eye at history as they look to become the first team to win this famous old trophy in five consecutive seasons for the first time in the tournament’s 147-year history.

Bonnyrigg Rose were dreaming of a cup shock for the ages but Dundee’s extra time dramatics ended their hopes of a dramatic run.

However, the likes of Camelon, Nairn County, Fraserburgh and Cove Rangers were all the hat and were handed some blockbuster ties.

Look back on an intriguing draw and find out who your team will face off against here.
