The Boston Celtics will reportedly be without one of their best players for at least 10 days. Forward Jayson Tatum is expected to go into quarantine under the league’s COVID-19 protocols, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Tatum, 22, played 35 minutes against the Washington Wizards on Friday. He scored 32 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the 116-107 Celtics win.

It’s unclear whether Tatum tested positive for the virus, or if he’s considered a close contact to someone who tested positive. The Celtics played Friday’s game without three players — Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams — due to the league’s health and safety protocols.

This story will be updated.
