The Golden Eaglets got a relatively easy draw for the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, as they were paired in Group B alongside Tanzania, Algeria and Congo.
The draw ceremony was held at the Monotel Dar El Barka Hotel in Nouakchott, Mauritania on Wednesday.
The U-17 AFCON will be held in Morocco between March 13 and 31.

Group A has hosts Morocco, Uganda, Zambia and Ivory Coast, while Group C has defending champions Cameroon, Senegal, Mali and South Africa.
Nigeria and Cameroon were seeded in Pot 1 alongside Morocco, with Tanzania, Senegal and Uganda in Pot 2. South Africa, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Congo, Mali and Zambia made up the teams in Pot 3.
Speaking with our correspondent, Eaglets coach, Fatai Amoo, said his team, who have been in camp in Abuja for two weeks, were determine to bring home the trophy.
He said, “Everybody in life wants to progress, so if you do something today, you are determined and focused to do something better and improve. We are trying to improve on all fronts in terms of our performance and every other thing that can make us better.
“It’s a very tough battle we are going for, the champions of other regions and the runners-up are coming. So, we will want to see how we can do better than what we did at the WAFU Championship.”
