Drone Startup Wingcopter Raises Capital as It Preps Vaccine Delivery

Drone startup Wingcopter GmbH has raised fresh venture capital as it jockeys for position against other drone makers to be part of the Covid-19 vaccine delivery effort.

The German developer of drones and operating software systems raised a $22 million funding round led by Silicon Valley-based venture firm Xplorer Capital and German investment firm Futury Regio Growth Fund.
