Man United are looking to close the gap on Manchester City ahead of Sunday’s huge derby as the Red Devils face a trip to Crystal Palace tonight.

Man City extended their lead in the title race – if you can call it that – to 15 points with a hard-fought 4-1 win over Wolves last night. Though United hold a game in hand over their rivals, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to win at Selhurst Park to stand any chance of cutting City’s lead to single digits before thr week is out.

As for Palace, Roy Hodgson’s side bounced back from a dismal 3-0 home defeat against Burnley to take four points from Brighton and Fulham, easing the pressure on the manager.

The Eagles look relatively safe in terms of avoiding a relegation battle, but with around a dozen players out of contract this summer, Hodgson has tasked his squad with proving they deserve new deals – and a big performance against United wouldn’t hurt.

With kick-off at 8:15pm GMT, follow the action on our LIVE match blog with Jack Rosser at Selhurst Park.

Big chance for Henderson
